Looking back at 2016

Lockett Family Charitable Foundation officially launched on August 16, 2016. Our initial project was the Fresh Fruit Friday Project. By the end of 2016, we had provided over 250 bags of fresh fruits and healthy snacks to students at Briscoe Elementary School. In November 2016, we launched our Coats of Love Project. Because of a generous donation from Ross Dress for Less Stores & DD’s Discount Stores, we were able to provide winter coats to 15 students at Briscoe Elementary, Morningside Elementary and Morningside Middle School.

Additionally, we provided 15 backpacks to students at Meadowbrook Middle School. Our involvement in the community did not stop there. We also partnered with the After School Program at Highland Hills Community Center. We provided books, school supplies, art supplies and gardening supplies for the Highland Hills Community Garden.

We are looking forward to playing a greater role in the community in 2017. Thank you to everyone who supported us in 2016. Your support and encouragement are greatly appreciated. We hope that we can count on your continued support.
