In this season of Thanksgiving, we often get lost in the mad rush of commercialism. We have Black Friday and Cyber Monday. However, we often forget that this season is actually about GIVING rather than receiving. That is why we have #Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is day set aside to give back to our communities, and to those who are less fortunate. Please join the movement and participate in this day of giving and service to humanity. Give whatever you can……your time, your service, your talent, or a financial contribution. We would love for you to donate to our organizations many programs that benefit people throughout Fort Worth, Texas. We are in the midst of our annual children’s coat giveaway. We welcome financial or in-kind donations. We are also about to relaunch our Fresh Fruit Friday Initiative. Feel free to donate fresh fruit and healthy snacks. These items will be given to children living in areas that do not have easy access to fresh produce. Whatever you do, please join the movement and give of yourself on Giving Tuesday. Whether you decide to donate to our organization or another worthy organization, please give with a cheerful heart.
