Lockett Foundation CEO & Secretary had a great time participating in Dr. Seuss event at Highland Hills Community Center.
The Highland Hills Community Center (Fort Worth, Texas) hosted the Seuss-A-Riffic Celebration on Saturday, March 23, 2019 to celebrate the birthday of famous author, Dr. Seuss. It was an event that focused on childhood literacy and education. There were 25 children and teens in attendance. There were “community celebrity” readers who read to the children and offered words of encouragement. Among the community celebrity readers was Lockett Foundation CEO, Jerome Johnson. Debra Walton-Johnson, Secretary of Lockett Foundation was present as well. Lockett Foundation donated several Dr. Seuss themed items to the community center for future use.
