We (Lockett Family Charitable Foundation) are thankful for the opportunity to form a partnership with C.C. Moss Elementary School in Fort Worth, Texas. We are passionate about improving the quality of life for children living in underserved communities like Southeast Fort Worth. One of the issues that is most important to us is child hunger and food insecurity. 1 out of every 4 children in Tarrant County struggles with hunger and/or food insecurity. The statistics are even more alarming in communities like Eastwood, Stop Six and other neighborhoods throughout the Southeast quadrant of Fort Worth. We want to be a part of the solution to ending the issue of child hunger and food insecurity.
We are thankful to Charla Wright-Staten, Principal of Christene Chadwick Moss Elementary School. We appreciate her allowing us to sponsor a food pantry on the campus of C.C. Moss. We are excited about the opportunity to have a positive impact in the community while helping families who are going through difficult times. We look forward to a long and pleasant relationship with the administration, staff, students and parents at C.C. Moss Elementary School.
