COATS OF LOVE FOR EJB
One of our most valued partnerships is with Edward J. Briscoe Elementary School.
Under the leadership of Mrs. Devona Burgess, Edward J. Briscoe is one of the crown jewels of the Fort Worth Independent School District. Everything about EJB is fantastic….the administrators, the office staff, the teachers, support staff and most of all, the students!
Yesterday, Lockett Family Charitable Foundation Founder and CEO, Jerome Carlos Johnson and Board President, Talitha Davis had the honor of visiting the EJB campus to deliver 51 winter coats. Pamela Bennett (Family Communications Specialist at EJB) stated that the coats were delivered just in time for the cold snap that is forecasted for next week. She stated that it was chilly this morning and she saw several students without coats. We are thankful for the opportunity to help Briscoe students and families.
Thank you to Mrs. Burgess (Principal), Mrs. Louis (Assistant Principal), Mrs. Cohen (Counselor), Mrs. Bennett (Family Communications Specialist) and the entire staff and student body at EJB. We see the great work that you are doing and we are proud to be one of your community partners.
