Today, Talitha Davis (Board Chair) and Jerome Carlos Johnson (CEO) visited Edward J. Briscoe Elementary School. Davis and Johnson dropped off a cart full of non-perishable foods to help replenish the food pantry at the school. Family Communication Specialist, Pamela Bennett was overjoyed to receive the donation, which will help several students whose families are experiencing hunger and food insecurity. The donation to Briscoe’s food pantry was made possible by a generous donation from Kroger stores. A special thank you to the courteous and efficient staff at the Kroger store located at Altamesa Boulevard and McCart Avenue.
